Romantic

My obsession with reading the personal ads on Craigslist has gotten really out of control. I could be a sociology project--seriously. But I digress... Have you ever noticed that men are FAR more romantic than women? I mean, I've never been one for romance and I always thought that would make my life easier in terms of dating, being that sentimentality is completely lost on me, but I'm starting to think that it could be the hindrance, because all these boys are coming off as a bunch of pansy-asses. Is that how guys really feel? Or, are they just saying that because that's what they think girls want to hear?

It's a question, comments are appreciated.

Comments:
I think some men are truthfully romantic BUT I do feel that the majority of men say the romantic things because they think that's what women want to hear. I think actions speak louder than words. Especially when it comes to romance.

It's what the chicks want to hear, right? Who knows? It's mostly wasted on me. I think the things that are most romantic are the things you don't think of as typically romantic... like bringing me my favorite sick drink (apple juice, water and ice) when I'm not feeling well or refilling the water in the humidifier. Mike also wrote me a "story" once using all lines from love songs... that was creative and cute, and not so typically cheesy.

I think that's what girls want to hear. Except I don't want to hear it.

And we're doing the Anatomy of Gray, I'm playing Rebekah. I'm insanely happy.
